Our standard

Be excellent to each other.

Participants in the solomonR community are expected to communicate respectfully, assume good faith, welcome methodological disagreement, and focus criticism on ideas, evidence, software behavior, and research decisions rather than people.

Examples of constructive behavior include:

• giving specific and actionable feedback;
• acknowledging uncertainty and legitimate methodological disagreement;
• respecting different levels of statistical and programming experience;
• sharing reproducible examples when possible;
• correcting errors openly and professionally.

Harassment, personal attacks, discriminatory language, intimidation, deliberate disruption, or publication of another person’s private information without permission are not acceptable.

Scope

This standard applies to repository issues, pull requests, reviews, discussions, and other project spaces.

Reporting

Concerns that can be handled publicly may be raised through the repository’s normal contribution channels.

For sensitive conduct concerns, contact the package maintainer using the contact information listed in DESCRIPTION rather than opening a public issue.

Enforcement

The maintainer may edit, remove, reject, or lock contributions that violate these standards and may restrict participation when necessary to protect a constructive project environment.
